Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $52 - $56 an hour
- Speech Language Pathologist needed for the rest of the 2023-24 school year for 40 hours a week.
- SLP-CCC will be assigned to a caseload of a max caseload of 55 students for an Elementary School campus.
- SLP-CCC schedule will be 7:30am-3:30pm unless there is a afternoon meeting, schedule will flex to 8am - 4pm instead.
- SLP-CCC will delivery services to students K-6th grade, AAC services, case management, IEP/Eligibility meetings, SPED meetings, data collection and progress reporting.
- Other duties may include Medicaid billing, writing annual IEPs, evaluations and report writing.
- District does have an AAC specialist that will support the SLP and students in AAC needs.
- They will also be supported by another SLP evaluation specialist and SLP that provides services.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree
- Oregon SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
