Job Summary:

Join our Womens Health team at our brand-new Specialty Clinic in Lakeville. Womens Health services in Lakeville will include integrated, full spectrum of Womens Health services, including Integrative Medicine, Mental Health, OB/GYN and Uro/Gynecology services, among many more. The care team focuses on whole person care with a multi-disciplinary care team to support a patient through their health journey.

Job Description:

• Provides direct care for obstetrics and gynecology patients.
• Provides direct patient care to women which may include specializing in areas of general medicine, the reproductive system, pregnancy and childbirth.
• Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
• Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
• Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
• On-site Medical Imaging, coding program offers ongoing education, triage/refill nurse program and after-hours answering service.

Practice details:

• Women's Health Service line has eight labor and delivery locations; 13,800 deliveries/year; 30 clinics; 53 OBGYNs; 21 OB hospitalists; 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, 2 fetal interventionalists.
• Nursing Support programs for Rx refills, triage and pap results
• After hours answering service support
• Quaternary hospital: Abbott Northwestern, Lv IV NICU; Tertiary hospitals - Mercy and United with level III NICUs, and 6 regional hospitals
• Mentorship/learning from a group of 80+ providers across our health system
• Integrative Medicine collaboration, Perinatal Mental Health Consultants and Uro/Gyn APP support
• Callwill be 4-5 shifts per month

Job Requirements

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
• BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 6 months of hire

Allina Health Lakeville Specialty Clinic will be a new 4-story, 50,000 square foot facility is conveniently located at 185th Street and I-35, just 20 minutes south of both downtown Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the MSP International Airport. Specialties will include Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Oncology Infusion, Plastics, Dermatology, Womens Health, Rheumatology and Infusion, Endocrinology, Urgent Care, and General Surgery.
