Experience:
24 months of role experience is required.
Travel experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

UW Health requires TWO TB SKIN TESTS (PPDs) for onboarding. BLOOD TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical, biological sciences, or a related field.
Completion of an accredited cytotechnology program.
Traveler must have completed minimum of three years of level 1 trauma hospital laboratory experience or similar size hospital or lab.
Traveler must have experience noted in the description above. This should be included on skills checklist or profile (gyn thinprep slides, QC rescreens on gyn specimens, FNA slide preparations, etc )
Epic baker experience highly preferred.
ASCP Cytotechnologist certification required. (Include copy in profile)
Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract
Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation
40 guaranteed hours
Monday - Friday between. No weekends, no call. Manager/traveler may consider 13 or 26 week assignment.
Maximum days off: 7 days
