Job Title: Commercial Account Executive
We have a very exciting opportunity that has become available within the Stockport office of a growing independent broker. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their team as they look to continue their consecutive growth in to 2020.
The successful candidate will be provided with all the tools and support required to build up and retain a profitable book of commercial business. Access to an excellent selection of markets and warm leads fed through a selection of key introducers and a team of Telesales Executives.
Your duties will include;
- Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets
- Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
- Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns
- Visiting clients for new business and renewals
- Negotiating new and renewal premiums with clients
- Providing data for management reports when required
- Utilising leads generated through a Telemarketing team
- Using own market awareness and contacts to generate new business enquiries
- Attending training courses and seminars
- Working closely with other members of commercial team/company to ensure smooth running of the department/company
- Providing administrative support to other areas of the company where required
Key Skills/Experience Required;
- Past experience within the Commercial Insurance industry
- Experience working for an Insurance Broker
- Self-motivated and organised individual
- Experience as an Account or Development Executive, or someone with excellent commercial insurance experience, who can demonstrate they have the required sales and service skills to step into this type of role
- Progression towards CII qualifications would be beneficial, but not essential
