We are extremely pleased to be working with an independent restauranteur who is recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef at their award winning gastro-pub.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong and experienced background working with fresh produce and a passion for British food.
The role will require:
- Previous working knowledge of butchery, foraging, seasonal foods and adaptability to the menus
- Food hygiene and health and safety legislation
- Training and development of staff
- Most of all a passion for great food.
This is a fresh produce kitchen and are strong believers in creating food rather than just cooking food. Their strong reputation and repeat custom comes from the wealth of fresh produce they grow in their own gardens and meadow directly next to the property.
